

In terms of damage, her DoTs will cause tremendous damage, and they avoid armor entirely. If the Occultist does give somebody Bleed, Plague Doctor just bandages them, which removes the Bleed and gives them more health, since they might need it. Plague Doctor has skills that inflict Blight and Bleed on the back spots (or maybe bleed on the middle two?), and has a bandage ability that heals a little and removes Bleed. I find that his higher upper limit on healing tends to work out for me better than the Vestals more predictable range, even if it sometimes delivers a +0/Bleed. I can't remember if he doesn't have any offensive Bleed abilities, or if I just never use them, but it's a real easy tradeoff.


He's my main healer, and can do a little damage as well. I give the Occultist healing trinkets, and one of the 'debuffs' that some of his trinkets come with is a -Bleed, which reduces his chance to make your characters bleed from his healing ability as well. My favorite combo is the Occultist slot 4, Plague Doctor slot 3.
